The Application Engineer role at pinta elements is a full-time, on-site position based in Minneapolis, MN. In this role, the Application Engineer collaborates with customers and internal teams to understand application requirements and translate them into practical system solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical support, configuring and testing products for specific use cases, and assisting in the integration of noise protection, thermal insulation, and wound care solutions into customer environments.
The role involves working closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure that solutions meet quality and regulatory standards. The Application Engineer also contributes to documentation, training materials, and continuous improvement initiatives to support product adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Strong technical support skills, including customer-facing problem-solving and issue resolution.
- Experience or exposure to software development for configuring, integrating, or supporting technical solutions.
- Background in electrical engineering for applications involving electronic systems or controls.
- Background in mechanical engineering for products related to noise protection, thermal insulation, or structural components.
- Proficiency in testing, validation, and quality assurance of technical products or systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards, and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Comfort working on-site in a manufacturing or lab environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in acoustics, insulation, or medical/healthcare products is a plus.
