Role:
Product Development Specialist focusing on aerospace adhesives, responsible for developing new products and platforms to enhance 3M's aerospace adhesives portfolio, supporting market growth and competitive positioning.
- collaborating across R&D, manufacturing, and external partners to develop innovative technologies, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory standards, and quality metrics
- contributing to intellectual property strategies
- integrating new manufacturing capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline
- 10+ years in product development, process engineering, or laboratory research in private, public, government, or military sectors
- Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Polymer Science
- experience with aerospace material testing, qualification processes, safety, and reliability
- proven contributions to IP or publications
- excellent collaboration, technical presentation, and communication skills
