Security, Event Staff​/ Venue Crew

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communication between all management, hourly staff and other security personnel to ensure complete safety of all.
• Greeting guests with a smile.
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol may be expected.
• When there is a conflict between guests or guest and employees, calmly mitigate the situation. When appropriate communicate and elevate issues with the management and local law enforcement officers.
• When instructed under specific circumstances, search the bag and belongings of guests and/or employees.
• Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated through your actions.
• In the case of emergency, provide leadership in evacuating the guests in a calm and orderly manner.
• Ability to keep calm in adverse situations.
• Being able to make intelligent critical decisions during emergencies and notifying management as deemed necessary.
• Be attentive! Offer your assistance before guests have to ask for it.
• Work as a team with all Company’s personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere.
• In situations where large number of guests are involved, implement proper crowd control strategies.
• Constantly monitor surroundings in order to provide the best security outcome. Report any unusual incidents or activities to management.
• Limit problems and liability related to guests' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading guests to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated guests.
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
• Other duties as directed.

• Experience of bar security work is highly desired

This is an hourly paid position. Days and hours of work vary according to business hours and job requirements. Business operates seven (7) days a week; and hours start as early as 8 AM and can go as late as 2 AM depending on the work required.

This role will require attention to detail, a smile and a high level of communication with guests, co workers, Managers and Chefs.
