Job Summary

The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the security department and staff within the venue. Duties may also include management functions under the direction of the Security Manager and Operations Manager.
Responsibilities- This role will be on predominantly show hours with occasional non‑show hours.
- Works directly with the GM, Ops Manager and other supervisors to perform day‑of‑show duties.
- Respond to all elevated staff/guest inquiries and or concerns regarding all shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities, as well as our VIP program and seat upgrades.
- Work through and correct guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service‑related situations.
- Lead staff, ongoing staff training, staff positioning, ensuring that all staff members are well‑informed on event specific details and managing breaks.
- Follow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure that service standards are met.
- Perform opening, running and closing duties according to Live Nation policy.
- Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members.
- Maintain security checklists and inventory in coordination with Ops Manager.
- Turn in all lost and found articles to Box Office.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per Responsible Alcohol Service training & Live Nation alcohol policies.
- Participate in all pre‑shift meetings prior to start of shift.
- Communicate to M.O.D. any issues that guests or team members may have.
- Work with the M.O.D. to resolve any and all guest issues – consult or involve management if the situation escalates.
- Responsible for completing incident reports and collecting witness statements.
- Complete all ejection logs and incident reports and return to GM when applicable.
- Required to work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma required.
- 3-5 years in restaurant, bar, night club leadership role.
- Working knowledge of high‑volume nightclub operations, responsible alcohol service and guest relations.
- Experience in developing operating procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills.
- Ability to train and develop employees.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude.
- Experience handling administrative tasks such as inventory, labor forecasting, scheduling, sales reports, handling invoices and performance tracking.
- Detail and solution oriented.
- Security experience, Guard Card a plus.
- Experience in a live music environment.
- College diploma in related field.
- Interest in growing and developing within Live Nation and venue operations.
- Working environment is fast‑paced, often loud, and has flashing/strobing lights.
- Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet.
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
$20.00 USD - $25.00 USD Hourly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
