ImagineX creates and manages events that inspire people around the world.

Our client, a global tech company, is seeking a Corporate Event Manager with excellent hospitality skills to support event production with a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the set-up and breakdown of conference supplies
  • Utilize scanning systems and equipment to scan badges
  • Utilize a reservation system and equipment to verify guest reservations and distribute correct badges for entrance into the venue
  • Provide excellent customer service and troubleshoot guest issues
  • Contribute to a positive overall guest experience
  • Manage the speaker and stage experience
  • Attend staff meetings and execute tasks under the direction of Managers and Leaders
Personal Characteristics
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations with diplomacy and tact
  • Comfortable using smart electronic devices (tablet, smartphone)
  • Comfortable working with and being in large crowds of people
  • Able to work efficiently in an organized and detailed fashion
  • Ability to adhere to company policies, protocols and procedures and maintain dedication to the company mission
  • An understanding of and ability to articulate your own personal limits to your supervisor
  • A great sense of humor!
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift/carry 50lbs
  • Able to experience periods of extended standing.
  • Able to walk and climb considerable distances, including inclines/declines
  • Able to stoop, crouch and kneel while placing signage throughout the venue
  • The ability to listen and speak clearly is required
Availability and Commitment
  • A full-team training will be provided prior to the event
  • Day 1:
    November 12 from 1pm - 10pm with training hours prior
  • Schedule to be confirmed
Compensation
  • $35/hr, paid as an Independent Contractor
  • Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included
