We are seeking an Executive Banking Associate to join our Deposit Services team at our corporate office in St. Louis Park. Reporting to the AVP Executive Banking Associate, the Executive Banking Associate will provide clients with a professional, high-touch banking experience by assisting with all areas of the consumer client management process – onboarding, account opening, key service setup, gathering deposit and loan documentation, handling direct client inquiries, and assisting in business development efforts of team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer Service / Client Management Functions
    • Develop and cultivate long-term client relationships to ensure client satisfaction
    • Partner with Relationship Management to attend meetings, onboard clients and become first point of contact for consumer deposit needs
    • Maintain frequent and open lines of communication to ensure a successful client experience
    • Conduct outreach to welcome new clients and follow up on requests
  • Deposit Account Responsibilities
    • Maintains expert knowledge of deposit products and services with developing knowledge of loans to ensure clients are aware of BWB offerings
    • Open, renew, and service all types of deposit accounts
    • Responsible for setting up key deposit account services including online banking profiles, mobile banking, ordering checks/debit cards, and assisting with online bill pay & wire originations
  • Loan Responsibilities
    • Work with clients to collect application and supporting documentation to process consumer loan requests
    • Collect supporting documents to facilitate timely underwriting and consumer loan closings
    • Collect and deliver signed loan documentation to the Loan Coordination team for loan booking
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities through client engagement
  • Review client documents to uncover additional opportunities
  • Respond to clients’ inquiries and credit requests and keep Relationship Managers apprised of client activity
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Responsible for working closely with other departments (Treasury Management, Support, Branches, etc.) when onboarding a shared client to ensure onboarding requirements and timelines are met
    • Provides input and suggestions for new services and product ideas
    • Positively represents the bank in all interactions with clients, coworkers, and vendors
    • Maintains an understanding of bank’s security policies and procedures
    • Adheres to the bank’s policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including (but not limited to) BSA
    • Maintain Notary Commission for client requests and loan closings
    • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years related banking experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field preferred
  • Superior customer service skills with displayed mastery of deposit products
  • Superior analytical/reasoning skills
  • Detail oriented with an eye for efficiency and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to engage others and work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
