Mutual Fund Specialist

Contract: 12 months (strong potential for extension or conversion)

We’re looking for a Mutual Funds Specialist to join a collaborative fund accounting team supporting mutual funds of varying complexity. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in Accounting or Finance who want hands‑on exposure to NAV calculations, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.

• Maintain general ledger records and support daily NAV calculations
• Perform daily GL accounting, cash and bank reconciliations
• Process portfolio activity, corporate actions, and expense accruals/payments
• Conduct portfolio pricing analysis and validations
• Partner with internal teams, transfer agents, custodians, and prime brokers
• Support audits, financial reporting, and compliance efforts
• Ensure adherence to SEC regulations and GAAP

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Experience working with databases or financial systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
