Senior Finance Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
OVERVIEWHeisler Kopp is partnering with a well‑established, growth‑oriented Minnesota based company to identify a Senior Finance Manager who will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, strengthening planning and analytics capabilities, and supporting executive decision‑making.
This is a high‑impact opportunity for a finance leader who wants a true seat at the table—influencing strategy, modernizing finance capabilities, and helping leadership navigate the next phase of organizational growth.

The Senior Finance Manager will partner closely with senior leaders on decisions that matter—bringing clarity to complexity, anticipating risks and opportunities, and helping define how finance supports the business going forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead and continuously improve annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long‑range planning processes
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasting tools, and performance dashboards
- Partner closely with senior leaders to analyze key performance indicators and provide actionable insights
- Translate complex financial analysis into clear, executive‑level narratives and recommendations
- Advance finance transformation efforts, including process optimization and automation
- Assess financial impact of strategic initiatives and opportunities, independently navigating ambiguity
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve enterprise financial transparency
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise
- Strong ERP and BI/analytics systems experience
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities
