We are seeking a Vice President to join our rapidly growing M&A practice in our Minneapolis office.

Our Vice Presidents play an integral role in developing and maintaining client, advisor, and buyer relationships and are key leaders throughout every aspect of transaction execution, from initial pitch to closing and beyond. This is a highly client-facing role, offering significant responsibility across transaction execution, deal leadership, and business development within a collaborative and growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of sell-side M&A transactions, including managing analysts and associates
  • Develop strategies and timelines to keep processes moving forward seamlessly
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic advice and maintaining relationships
  • Oversee the development of complex financial models, valuation analyses, and data analyses
  • Lead the preparation of marketing materials and pitch materials, including idea generation
  • Conduct industry and company-specific research and due diligence
  • Drive buyer due diligence and manage cross-functional internal and external teams
  • Coordinate deal teams, advisors, clients, and potential buyers
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including developing prospective client and advisor relationships, pitch preparation, and origination support
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, setting the tone for performance, growth, and collaboration
  • Participate in the overall growth and culture of the firm
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of investment banking experience with a proven track record of sell-side M&A execution
  • Highly organized project captain capable of managing multiple high velocity processes and projects
  • Effective communicator – verbal, written, and virtual
  • Ability to set a clear vision and execute with precision and urgency
  • Curious and resourceful with strong understanding of accounting and finance
  • Experience building and overseeing complex financial and valuation models and marketing materials
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Passion for developing, mentoring, and training junior talent – ability to be player-coach as needed
  • FINRA Licenses - Series 63, Series 79
  • Based in or open to relocation to Minneapolis
