Finance Director - Midwest Region (Travel Required)
Position Summary:We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Field Finance Director to support operations across multiple locations in the Midwest. This leadership role partners closely with field operations and executive leadership to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision‑making. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, business partnership experience, and the ability to influence results in a dynamic, multi‑site environment.
This role requires approximately 25% travel to locations throughout the Midwest, when not travelling, hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary finance partner to regional and field leadership teams.
- Provide financial oversight, analysis, and guidance to improve operational performance and profitability.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for assigned locations.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Support pricing, cost control, labor analysis, and margin optimization initiatives.
- Drive accountability around financial results and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Develop and mentor field finance staff (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial reporting standards.
- Present financial results and insights to senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including operational or field finance support.
- Experience supporting multi‑site or regional operations strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with non‑financial leaders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
- Results‑driven and hands‑on
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment
- Ability to travel approximately 25% throughout the Midwest region
