Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Part time (6 hours per week) Bookkeeper to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position designed for an individual with a strong background in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting essential accounting functions. The role requires a commitment of 6 hours per week and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Quick Books software.

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.

- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.

- Oversee payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.

- Generate financial reports and summaries to provide insights into the organization's financial status.

- Collaborate with management to address any discrepancies or financial concerns.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support organizational goals.

- Provide general bookkeeping support to streamline accounting operations.

Requirements - At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Quick Books software for managing financial data.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Demonstrated ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.

- Experience handling payroll functions and ensuring timely payments.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
