Senior Financial Analyst – Revenue Share
As a Senior Finance Analyst – Revenue Share
, you will be a key contributor on the Revenue Share team, providing operational, analytical, and accounting support across multiple business areas. You will support Citizen’s Upgrade Plus, own the Other Margin rollup, and manage end-to-end Progressive Leasing reconciliations and business analysis. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting, while delivering clear monthly financial commentary and insights.
You will also play an active role in supporting new initiatives and Marketplace‑related work as needed.
This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What you’ll do- Prepare and record journal entries and maintain accurate, audit‑ready accounting records for assigned revenue share areas
- Perform account reconciliations, including full ownership of Citizen’s Upgrade Plus balance sheet activity, Other Margin roll‑up, and Progressive Leasing reconciliations
- Support month end close activities, including P&L reporting and variance investigation
- Lead monthly accounting reviews and partner cross functionally to identify variances, risks, and business drivers and provide clear analysis and written commentary for owned accounts
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor invoicing as well as maintaining vendor relationships
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and enhancements to internal controls and SOPs
- 2 years of experience in accounting or finance role
- Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience applying GAAP in a large-company environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
