This position is within Wells Fargo Asset Management Galliard Capital Management. Galliard Capital Management is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota and specializes exclusively in fixed income and value management for institutional investors.

Daily responsibilities require performing moderately complex fund accounting for collective funds and institutional portfolios, calculating net asset values and providing daily pricing to record keepers and other intermediaries. Other responsibilities include balancing investment activity with outside parties monthly and preparing monthly reporting.
In addition, responsibilities will also include preparation, review, and delivery of annual financial reports to clients and auditors. This individual will have a lead role in coordinating the annual collective fund audits and will interact daily with senior‑level employees at client firms and their auditors.
Basic Qualifications- 4+ years accounting experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of portfolio accounting, fixed income securities, trade settlement operations, the role of systems supporting these functions, and the role of outside participant record keepers.
- Proven teamwork skills able to recognize where you can help the team complete all daily and monthly tasks.
- Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills, with proven ability to manage and prioritize work to meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions.
- Understanding of the nature of collective or mutual fund processes.
- Knowledge, experience and skills in the use of PC‑based systems, including advanced skill in MS Excel.
- Proven ability to research and report on a variety of issues using problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced environment, with daily and periodic deadlines.
- Strong background in fixed income investments.
- CPA certification or in progress.
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field.
- Client service experience, working with senior‑level management.
- Financial services industry background.
- Fund accounting, public accounting, and/or financial statement preparation experience.
- Familiarity with NSCC.
- Experience with PAM or other securities accounting system, SEI or equivalent custodian systems.
- S Value product knowledge.
- Ability to work overtime if necessary to complete daily, monthly, and annual tasks.
