Principal Auditor

We’re partnering with a large, well-known global company on a strategic Principal, Internal Audit opportunity — a role focused on business impact, visibility, and project-based work rather than traditional compliance. This position sits within a highly respected audit team that has strong backing from leadership and direct visibility to the CFO. You’ll work on risk-based audits and operational projects that dig into how the business runs.

• Plan and execute complex audit projects, including defining scope and reporting
• Oversee work completed by junior audit staff, providing coaching
• Create risk-based audit programs
• Identify and evaluate internal controls, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• 7+ years of public accounting experience
• CPA
• Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic and international)

• Salary Range: $125,000–$135,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.

This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
