Senior Internal Auditor

Our local client is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their world class audit team. This role offers significant exposure to multiple areas of the business (ie - Accounting/Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, US and International) as well as exposure to Senior Management.

• Support the development and execution of the annual Audit Plan while communicating results to leaders company-wide.
• Perform complex internal audit work involving a high degree of problem solving and diagnostic responsibilities.
• Build work products such as analysis and other work paper support that details the engagement procedures and the results of those procedures.
• Understand and evaluate processes and related controls.
• Develop both ITGC and SOX controls with AICPA compliance
• Obtain background, historical, and other relevant information on the areas to be audited.
• Capture preliminary information on risks and controls for an individual internal audit project or assignment.
• Assist and lead in preparing fraud, anti-corruption, and other assessments and training.
• Participate in the communication of information to management of the auditable unit.
• Work with the audit team in the development of creative, practical, and efficient recommendations for improvement.

• Minimum of three busy seasons completed and three years work experience on the audit side of a public accounting firm. (not including internships)
• Active CPA strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field required
• Hybrid job. Ability to interview and work on-site in the Twin Cities, MN. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
