Payroll Administrator - Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board

Responsibilities

MPRB's Finance Department is hiring a Payroll Administrator who is responsible for advance-level technical work involving planning, organizing, and maintaining the payroll system for all MPRB employees. Provides timely and accurate preparation of payroll; audits, balances, and corrects computerized payroll system; and analyzes and resolves issues and errors.

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of increasingly responsible experience in payroll accounting including performing advanced payroll transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll; other experience including auditing, balancing, and correcting payroll documents, monitoring payroll time records, and producing other related reports for employees within a department.
