** Job Description
** The Ascent division of U.S. Bank’s Wealth Management Group exclusively serves a limited number of ultra‐high‐net‐worth clients, each with a net worth exceeding $75 million. The Director of Investments is responsible for directly managing these clients' investment portfolios while also assisting senior advisors with portfolio management and business development efforts.

Key daily tasks include creating personalized client portfolios and related performance reports, delivering prompt and relevant investment updates to clients, and preparing materials and models for both internal and external meetings. The Director of Investments collaborates closely with the Managing Directors of Investments to ensure consistent implementation of investment strategies across all accounts and organizes transition plans as appropriate. This position will have direct client contact as part of supporting the Managing Directors.
** Basic Qualifications**  - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience  - Seven or more years of experience in a portfolio/wealth management role    
** Preferred Skills/Experience**  - Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required
- Advanced understanding of finance/accounting/investments and portfolio construction, and financial modeling skills are required
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Two or more years of experience working with alternative assets- CFA designation
- Master's degree
