Senior Tax Manager, Exempt Organizations

Job Overview

Crowe’s Exempt Organization Tax Services team is passionate about serving the tax‑exempt community and shaping a brighter future for our clients, people, and the firm.

• Proactively manage client service, including implementing tax strategies, researching issues, correspondence, meetings and client development.
• Identify opportunities for tax planning and other special services, while effectively managing the work of client team members.
• Participate and contribute to the attainment of group goals.
• Coach, mentor, and train team members.
• Contact, obtain and develop new exempt organization clients through new business development efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA or Juris Doctor required.
• 8+ years tax experience in public or industry with exempt organization background.
• Form 990, 990‑T and 990‑PF experience required.
• Strong communication and decision‑making skills on client issues.
• Excellent project management and time‑management skills.

This position operates in a hybrid work environment that balances remote flexibility with regular in‑person collaboration.
