About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Fiduciary Specialty Asset Manager to support Closely Held Asset Management within its Wealth & Investment Management division. This role will partner with senior asset managers, fiduciary advisors and the internal business partners to deliver a high quality client experience while ensuring adherence to fiduciary standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management. These specialized fiduciary services include Real Estate Asset Management Services.
In this role, you will:
* Participate or provide support for a closely held asset portfolio comprised primarily of minority interests and occasionally more complex assets
* Negotiate sales, vote proxies, review financial statements, value closely held interests based on accepted valuation standards, participate in owner meetings, review partnership, operating and shareholder agreements, communicate with entity stakeholders including managers, clients, accountants, and attorneys
* Review less complex or tactical issues, policies or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables
* Provide closely held asset management in accordance with the governing instruments, fiduciary laws, bank policies and procedures
* Receive direction from supervisor and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
* Collaborate and consult with managers, functional colleagues and stakeholders, including internal and external customers
Required Qualifications:
* 6+ months of Fiduciary Specialty Asset Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Qualifications:
* Knowledge of specialty assets such as closely held businesses, private equity, real estate, or oil and gas interests
* Strong analytical, financial statement review, and problem-solving skills
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to build relationships and collaborate with clients, business partners, attorneys, accountants, and other professional advisors
* Understanding of fiduciary principles, risk management, or compliance practices within financial services
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field
Job Expectations:
* Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
* Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
