Blue Ops is a leading M&A consulting firm specializing in financial due diligence, value creation, and analytics. With a team of 70+ professionals across four offices, we support 120+ transactions annually for middle-market private equity firms, investment banks, and portfolio companies.
Blue Ops is seeking an M&A Manager to lead financial due diligence and transaction execution across multiple private equity and middle-market M&A engagements. This client-facing role serves as the day‑to‑day deal lead, owning engagement execution from LOI through close and into post‑transaction execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements
- Prepare and review quality of earnings, EBITDA, working capital, and transaction models
- Manage multiple concurrent engagements and ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Serve as the primary client contact for private equity sponsors, bankers, and management teams
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Associates and Analysts
- Present diligence findings and transaction insights to clients
- Support post-close integration and value creation initiatives
- 510 years of experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, investment banking, or corporate development
- Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills
- Experience leading client‑facing diligence engagements
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- CPA, CFA, or similar credentials preferred
