Anti- Laundering Investigator

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze complex financial crimes, suspicious activities, and policy violations
• Conduct research using investigative techniques to determine risk, liability, and impact
• Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies across transactions and customer relationships
• Prepare documentation and escalate cases (e.g., suspicious activity reporting)
• Collaborate with internal teams to mitigate risks and improve processes
• Support fraud prevention strategies, audits, and compliance initiatives

• 2+ years of experience in financial crimes, fraud investigations, compliance, operational risk, law enforcement, or military
• Minimum 1.5 years required to be considered for this role
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred

• Experience in banking or financial fraud investigations
• Experience writing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)
