Investment Banking Associate

Echo Search Group – Financial Services team is exclusively partnered with an advisory-focused investment bank serving middle-market companies. Teams work closely together to design tailored strategies that maximize outcomes for clients across a variety of market environments.

The firm is seeking an Associate to support the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions. This role offers significant responsibility across all phases of the deal lifecycle, including financial analysis, client interaction, and transaction execution.

• Support day‑to‑day execution of live transactions
• Oversee and mentor analysts, managing workflow and development
• Build and review complex financial models and valuation analyses
• Prepare client‑facing materials, including presentations and offering memoranda
• Participate in due diligence processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct in‑depth company, industry, and market research
• Assist senior bankers with business development efforts, including pitch materials and target analysis
• Engage with clients, investors, and counter parties throughout transaction processes

• 3–5 years of investment banking experience (middle‑market preferred)
• Strong financial modeling and accounting skills
• Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast‑paced environment
• M&A and/or capital raising transaction experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
