We’re helping our client hire a Senior Cost Analyst to strengthen financial visibility and support smarter operational decisions. In this role, you’ll analyze product costs, margins, and variances while partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to drive efficiency and profitability. This role requires candidates to be based in the Twin Cities metro area.
What You’ll Lead- Maintain accurate cost standards and analyze COGS, margins, and variances
- Deliver targeted cost insights that support pricing, production, and operational decisions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting
- Lead inventory close, reconciliations, cycle counts, and physical inventory
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to understand cost drivers and improve processes
- Prepare audit‑ready cost and inventory documentation
- 3+ years of cost accounting or financial analysis experience in manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel
- ERP experience;
Power BI or similar tools a plus - Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
