• Assist audit team management in planning audit engagements, including risk assessment and business process analysis.
• Interview auditees and evaluate control design adequacy.
• Perform or supervise control testing by staff auditors, using appropriate sampling techniques and documenting testing results.
• Draft potential exposures, identify root causes, and develop recommendations for cost‑effective operational improvements.
• Assist with drafting audit reports and wrapping up audit phases.
• Apply coaching insights and perform other duties as requested by management.

• Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; five to seven years of applicable experience.

  Consumer compliance or regulatory compliance experience; bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Five or more years of experience in internal auditing, public accounting, or related fields.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and project management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends affecting the assigned line of business.
• Advanced understanding of business operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls.
• Strong process facilitation, business acumen, and credibility to help the business line identify and address evolving workforce needs.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer navigation skills using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
• Applicable professional certifications preferred.

• Working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $ (may vary by role location).
