As a Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager, you will drive growth by building and managing relationships with business clients while delivering tailored financial solutions. This role combines business development, relationship management, and credit expertise to help clients achieve their goals and strengthen the bank’s market presence. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategic growth initiatives and mentor emerging talent within the team.
KeyAccountabilities
- Drive new business development by identifying, pursuing, and closing banking opportunities with business clients.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of business banking relationships while deepening existing client engagement.
- Analyze financial information and recommend lending solutions that align with client needs and bank guidelines.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver treasury management, wealth management, capital markets, and other banking solutions.
- Lead credit discussions and support loan structuring, underwriting, and approval recommendations.
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with credit policies, risk standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute market strategies and business plans to achieve growth and profitability goals.
- Build referral networks and represent the bank through community, industry, and business organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of commercial banking or business-to-business sales experience.
- Strong business development, relationship management, and credit analysis skills.
- Proven success in achieving sales growth and managing client portfolios.
- Access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive, if applicable.
- Experience leading complex commercial banking relationships.
- Strong knowledge of treasury management, wealth management, and other non-lending financial solutions.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of relationship managers.

The pay range represents anticipated base pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, work location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
For certain positions, total compensation may also include incentive, commission, or bonus opportunities not reflected in the posted base pay range.
