The Portfolio Manager partners with Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage a portfolio of Corporate Banking credit relationships, grow revenue as directed by senior management by closing new business relationships and expanding existing relationships.
Responsibilities- Underwrite all types of credit account exposure.
- Manage an assigned credit portfolio.
- Successfully close new business relationships and expand existing relationships.
- Manage credit risk and respond to prospect or customer credit questions.
- Make independent calls on assigned portfolio of relationships.
- Provide customer service and participate in joint sales calls with Relationship Manager(s).
- Identify customer needs.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Eight or more years of relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures, and products.
- Strong relationship management and business development skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
