Product Analyst, Alternative Investments
The Alternative Investments product team serves as the primary platform support for alternative investment products (e.g. hedge funds, private capital funds, real assets, and exchange funds, etc.) sold across the RBC Wealth Management distribution channel. Assists in the development, support, growth, and risk management of RBC Wealth Management's alternative investments platform(s). Assists in the management of key strategic initiatives and vendor relationships designed to support alternative investments platform(s).
This role is directly aligned to functional and organizational responsibilities around client service and operational risk management. The role of Product Associate aligns directly to the RBC Wealth Management overall strategy.
Support financial advisors and client associates with questions related to the alternative investments platform by answering questions, assisting with order flow and solutioning "not in good order" documents.
Monitor alternative investment product inbox and action on emails, completely, accurately and timely.
Assist with routine and ad-hoc administrative activities, including security setup, information collection, fund legal documents monitoring, and billing.
Assist in management of internal web sites related to supported alternative platform(s), including Infonet, Alts Link and Salesforce.
Support the Alternatives Product Manager on projects required to ensure compliance with regulators, competitiveness, and advisor satisfaction.
Assist in development and execution of key strategic initiatives, particularly with regards to alternatives.
Identify appropriate solutions to product and business challenges, and manage the implementation of enhancements to existing programs.
Undergraduate degree (BA / BS) with preferred concentration in business, economics, finance, or marketing.
Basic knowledge of financial markets and investment industry.
Basic knowledge of alternative investment products.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel Spreadsheet – Ability to adapt to changing technology.
1+ years financial markets experience.
Securities industry licenses 7, 63 and 65, or series 66; or willingness to become licensed.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $55,000-$95,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs. You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
