Job Description

The Wealth Management Post Underwriter supports the Commercial Post Underwriting function within Wealth Management by managing the loan fulfillment process following underwriting approval. This role serves as a key partner to bankers, documentation preparation teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure approved loans progress efficiently through documentation, execution, and funding.

Responsibilities
  • Review approved loan packages and supporting documentation.
  • Enter and maintain information within internal systems.
  • Coordinate with documentation preparation partners.
  • Validate completed loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Work closely with bankers throughout the document execution process.
  • Identify and resolve documentation deficiencies.
  • Ensure loans meet all requirements for funding readiness.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • Two to three or more years of experience in loan documentation, loan operations, or related banking functions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of loan documentation requirements, including collateral, vesting, and ownership structures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable banking regulations, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in banking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a regulated, fast‑paced environment.
Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
