Position OverviewThe firm is seeking an Associate to support the evaluation, execution, and management of private equity investments. This role offers meaningful responsibility across all stages of the investment process, including financial analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, portfolio monitoring, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate new investment opportunities through financial modeling, valuation, and industry research
- Support due diligence processes by coordinating with management teams, lenders, consultants, and third‑party advisors
- Build and maintain complex financial models to assess investment returns and transaction structures
- Prepare investment committee presentations, transaction materials, and internal analyses
- Conduct company, industry, and market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Assist in negotiating transaction documentation and coordinating deal execution activities
- Monitor portfolio company performance through financial reporting, KPI analysis, and strategic reviews
- Partner with portfolio company management teams on operational and growth initiatives
- Support investment professionals with sourcing efforts and evaluation of potential acquisition targets
- 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or a related financial services role
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and accounting skills
- Experience analyzing M&A transactions and investment opportunities
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
