As a member of the CIM group’s excise tax and renewable energy credits (E/E) unit, you will apply your technical and quality expertise to deliver outstanding client service. Your day‑to‑day work will revolve around two core concepts: technical proficiency in excise tax and renewable energy credits, and strong client communication.

• Assist with tax planning and research related to excise tax and renewable‑energy‑credit matters (Federal excise tax, ITC, PTC, carbon capture, electric‑vehicle credits, renewable‑fuel credits, etc.)
• Implement multiple projects concurrently, including client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering, and resource coordination.
• Assist in drafting opinion letters and other technical memoranda.
• Develop an understanding of client businesses and help drive the success of R&D or federal‑credit engagements.
• Maintain competency through continuing education and additional certifications.

• B.A. or B.S. degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations; reliable transportation arrangements required.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.

• Working toward successful completion of the CPA exam.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively on a team and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Competitive salary range: $70,400 – $84,000.
