Actuarial Internship Job Minneapolis area,Minnesota USA,Finance & Banking

Assist in preparation of financial reports, memorandums and other required actuarial supporting analyses
Analyze annuity and life insurance products
Participate in the development and pricing of new products
Prepare financial statements
Hedge investments
Produce analysis and reports for senior leaders
Perform Excel spreadsheet automation and develop complex financial models
Use artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)

Requirements

Active pursuit of a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related field
Completion of 1-2 SOA exams preferred
Superior communication, programming and math skills
Experience using Excel, VBA and/or other programming languages
Leadership experience a plus
Preference will be given to candidates that also have the following:
Previous actuarial internship experience, Successful completion of at least one SOA exam, Programming or database management experience
You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
