Financial Data Analyst

• Develop, maintain, and automate a suite of financial reporting tools, spreadsheets, templates, and applications.
• Support the Payments:
  Consumer and Small Business (PCS) Finance group by querying information from a data warehouse and performing ad‑hoc data mining and financial analysis.
• Assist in the construction and development of financial applications and other tools using MS Access, MS Excel, VBA, and SQL.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically three or more years of related experience.

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to produce accurate, high‑quality work.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD for Oracle, Netezza, and/or SAS.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Power BI and SharePoint.
• Extensive experience with MS Access and Excel, including pivot tables.
• Background in Finance, Accounting, or Managerial Reporting.
• Strong process design, documentation, and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Must work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week.
