Lead Consultant - Fractional CFO

The Fractional CFO provides premium finance and accounting assistance to growing and emerging companies. This position works directly with entrepreneurial business owners to deliver fractional CFO services. As a fractional CFO at Integrated Consulting Services, you’ll be a trusted advisor and a key team member for several clients to help business owners achieve their goals. As a trusted advisor to the executive management teams within these companies, the Fractional CFO oversees the tactical finance and accounting function within the company from a high-level, while providing practical, strategic, CFO-level guidance to business owners.

• Assist in the building of a comprehensive financial model and thirteen-week cash flow to help business owners achieve their goals
• Review weekly thirteen-week cash flow models to help client’s manage cash flow constraints and opportunities
• Attend weekly meetings with IC

  * * financial consultants and business owners to drive consulting work and deliver strategic and practical advice
• Assist with month end review and monthly reporting packages including budget vs actual analysis
• Present monthly reports to provide strategic insight into the financial performance of the company
• Analyze financial statement trends and KPIs and make recommendations for client actions to address insights
• Develop strong working relationships with clients and other stakeholders
• Suggest and implement operational best practices within the finance and accounting department
• Employ good, sound judgment, and become a trusted advisor within the company
• Foster a strong relationship with the business owner as well as key partners such as investors and/or bankers to help clients achieve their business goals
• Generate qualified leads for future engagements by networking with other professional trusted advisors
• Board, auditor, and investor relations assistance

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA is a plus)
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Advanced working knowledge of GAAP accounting
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies
• Quick Books knowledge
• Strong financial analysis abilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Ability to plan, direct, and control the strategic accounting function for multiple client companies at any given time
• A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective as well as executing detail-oriented tasks
• Ability to analyze existing operations and recommend and implement both revised and new policies, procedures, and systems
• Willing to travel to clients if required
• Exceptional ability to motivate, coach, and develop mid-level accounting professionals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to present reports accurately and concisely to business owners and key stakeholders/partners
• Unquestionable business ethics and personal integrity

• CPA experience
• Solid accounting, analytical, and business acumen
