A leading financial services organization is seeking an Account Associate to join its growing team in Minneapolis. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with financial services, mortgage, banking, or professional customer service experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing client communications, reporting, account administration, and document review processes.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal business partners.
- Communicate with clients via phone and email to answer questions and resolve issues.
- Support relationship management activities and maintain assigned client accounts.
- Perform account setup, maintenance, and ongoing administration in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Generate, review, and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Review financial and mortgage-related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established requirements.
- Research account discrepancies and assist with issue resolution.
- Prepare certifications, trust receipts, and other sensitive business correspondence.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to support client needs.
- Assist with projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, banking, mortgage operations, or professional customer service; OR
- Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience.
- At least 6 months of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Experience working with Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Experience in the mortgage industry.
- Experience reviewing mortgage or financial documents.
- Knowledge of collateral or document management processes.
