Securities Operations Specialist

Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Operations Specialist to join the Asset Services Team. Asset Services plays a critical role in supporting corporate action processing, entitlement distribution, income events, and other securities servicing activities that directly impact client accounts and advisor experience. The ideal candidate will challenge traditional ways of working, identify opportunities to reduce risk and manual effort, and embrace emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation tools, to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and service quality.

In this role, you will:

Process and support a variety of corporate action and asset servicing events

Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the client experience

Leverage AI, automation, and data-driven solutions to streamline processes and eliminate manual tasks where appropriate

Participate in transformation initiatives, automation efforts, and technology implementations across Asset Services

Investigate and resolve operational exceptions with a focus on root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions

Partner with business, technology, and vendor teams to deliver process improvements

Execute key risk and control activities while maintaining regulatory compliance

Support department metrics, reporting, audit requests, and procedural documentation

Collaborate with onshore and offshore partners to ensure timely and accurate processing

Contribute innovative ideas that simplify processes, improve scalability, and enhance service delivery

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired

Qualifications:

2+ years experience in Asset Services, Corporate Actions, Income Processing, or related securities operations functions

Demonstrated aptitude for process improvement, operational excellence, innovation, and transformation

Experience utilizing AI tools, automation platforms, or workflow technologies to improve efficiency and productivity

Ability to identify inefficiencies and develop creative, technology-enabled solutions

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to adopt new technologies and ways of working

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

Strong attention to detail, accountability, and ownership mindset

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Experience with tools such as Alteryx, Xceptor, Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies

Job Expectations:

Ability to work a hybrid in-office schedule

Willingness to work on-site at stated location

Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$31.73 - $48.08
