Position Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Investment Banking Vice President for our Healthcare Med Tech team in Minneapolis, MN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement
    :
    Serve as a key contact for select clients, fostering impactful relationships and contributing to client coverage.
  • Marketing & Client Materials
    :
    Develop compelling marketing materials for company sale and financing assignments.
  • Due Diligence
    :
    Actively participate in due diligence processes and drafting sessions for public offerings.
  • Business Development
    :
    Assume increasing responsibilities in new business development initiatives over time.
  • Transaction Execution
    :
    Lead and support the execution of M&A, equity, equity‑linked, and debt transactions.
  • Financial Analysis
    :
    Prepare comprehensive strategic and M&A analyses, detailed company valuations, and financial models.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of investment banking experience or MBA degree and 3+ years of investment banking or closely related experience.
  • Meaningful M&A transaction experience required.
  • Ability to lead junior bankers throughout a transaction; includes reviewing work, setting expectations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Business writing skills, including the ability to write compelling selling memorandums and presentations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and M&A deal modeling experience.
  • Client management skills including ability to build relationships and establish trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative and leadership potential.
  • Deep understanding and passion for healthcare and the medical device ecosystem.
  • Highly motivated, team player with strong attention to detail and an ability to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor's or MBA Degree in finance, business, management plus other related degrees.
Compensation

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $250,000 per year. Placement is dependent upon level of experience. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
