This role partners closely with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership to improve revenue growth, profitability, forecast accuracy, and overall commercial performance. The Finance Business Partner will go beyond reporting the numbers—helping business leaders understand performance drivers, identify opportunities and risks, and translate financial and operational data into actionable recommendations.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical capabilities with business curiosity, communication skills, and an interest in using modern tools such as Power BI, FP&A planning platforms, and AI-enabled technologies to improve how financial insights are developed and communicated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze sales, backlog, line-of-business margins, customer profitability, and commercial performance trends.
  • Monitor results against budget, forecast, Growth Products, Line of Business goals, and strategic objectives.
  • Identify key performance drivers and provide variance analysis, insights, and recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and development of key business-driver assumptions.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to improve forecast accuracy and maintain a reliable 12-month rolling forecast.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors, Account Managers, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership to support commercial and strategic decision-making.
  • Provide financial analysis supporting quotations, pricing decisions, margin improvement, growth initiatives, strategic projects, and business cases.
  • Participate in SIOP, monthly business reviews, and other commercial planning processes.
  • Leverage Power BI, FP&A planning software, AI-enabled tools, and other technologies to improve reporting, forecasting, analysis, and generation of business insights.
  • Develop concise executive summaries, presentations, monthly management reporting, and business narratives that clearly communicate performance, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, data quality, and commercial decision support.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, business analysis, economics, accounting, commercial finance, or a related function.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing commercial performance, including sales, backlog, margins, customer profitability, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, variance analysis, and business decision-making.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or other business leaders.
  • Experience preparing management reporting, executive summaries, presentations, and action-oriented business narratives.
  • Experience with Power BI, FP&A/planning software, AI-enabled tools, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively partner with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced business environment.
