Actuarial Intern

• Work on projects directly with actuaries
• Complete and present a self-directed, business-driven individual project to senior leaders
• Contribute to projects in product development, actuarial valuation, finance, and risk management
• Enhance existing processes using Python, SQL, and Power BI
• Build validation tools to ensure accuracy of actuarial models
• Analyze results and trends given regulatory or product changes
• Gain hands‑on experience and contribute to meaningful projects across the business
• Participate in mentoring, networking, senior leader engagement, and community initiatives

• Current Junior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
• Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028
• Required to have passed at least one actuarial exam
• Valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States
• High degree of self‑motivation with strong integrity and ethics
• Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Demonstrates strong analytical skills and proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power BI to enhance actuarial processes and validate models. Possesses effective communication and organizational abilities to collaborate on projects and present findings to senior leaders.
