Account Coordinator
The Mortgage Account Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the mortgage lending team throughout the loan lifecycle. This role serves as a key point of contact for loan officers, borrowers, processors, underwriters, and closing partners to ensure mortgage files are accurate, complete, and progressing efficiently through the loan process.
The Mortgage Account Coordinator is responsible for gathering documentation, maintaining loan records, coordinating communications, tracking pipeline activity, and supporting compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service excellence, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and organize loan documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Schedule appointments and follow up on leads and pending applications.
- Support Account Executives by tracking application status and coordinating with underwriters or processors.
- Respond to Broker inquiries and provide timely, professional service.
- Respond to Broker's guideline-related questions across various loan products.
- Use our AI tools to run income calculations for Brokers.
- Follow up with Brokers on registered loans to ensure timely submission of complete files.
- Ad hoc projects and tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum three years experience in mortgage origination, processing, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of personal computer and related word processing, spreadsheet and LOS software.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Education:
High School or equivalent
