Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Associate for its Minneapolis, MN office. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in complex federal transactional tax matters and a commitment to obtaining an active bar license in the corresponding state.
Duties- Advise on business entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
- Provide guidance on state and local tax matters, including income, franchise, sales, and use tax.
- Collaborate with non-profit and for-profit clients on tax-related issues.
- Minimum of four years of relevant tax experience preferred.
- Active bar license in the corresponding state or commitment to obtain one.
- Experience with federal transactional tax matters.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
- Active bar license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
