Lab Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laboratory Technician to support our blood circuit operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, precision in handling biological materials, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circuit Setup:
  Cut tubing and connect components to oxygenators and other equipment.
• Blood Preparation:
  Adjust chemical properties of blood to meet experimental or operational requirements.
• Circuit Operation:
  Run the blood circuit, monitor performance, collect data, and report results accurately.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  Maintain detailed records of procedures, measurements, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a laboratory or clinical setting preferred.
• Familiarity with blood handling and chemical adjustment techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
• Comfortable working early morning and full-day shifts.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Schedule:

• 2 days/week: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• 3 days/week: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

  Specific days may vary, but hours are fixed.

Benefits:Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines. Earned Sick and Safe time is accrued and can be used per the State of MN guidelines.
