Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant in the Minneapolis area. This is a mobile route and will require a reliable vehicle - employees are compensated for their travel.

SummaryThe technologist assistant supports the technologist with various duties including transporting patients between the facility and scanner and completing paperwork.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist the technologist with patient care by transporting patients between the facility and scanner.
- Sanitize and clean patient care and staff areas.
- Change table linens.
- Enter exam and patient information electronically or on paper.
- Answer the telephone.
- Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development across the lifespan.
- Identify patient age‑specific grouping of needs.
- Commit to customer satisfaction and quality as exhibited by internal and external customer feedback.
- Follow safety and quality procedures and initiatives, including reporting hazards and injuries.
- Comply with DMS policies, local, state and federal regulations and laws related to work duties and responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
- High school education or equivalent.
- One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
- Ability to access job related internet websites, review online documentation and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications
- CPR certified, mandatory education, Hepatitis B, TB.
The job requires standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and close vision.
TravelMay be required to travel up to 100% of the time. Reliable transportation is required.
