Ascend Rehabilitation, LLC is an integrated health and wellness program for seniors seeking to maintain independence or recover from life-changing events. Highly trained physical, occupational and speech therapists collaborate with fitness professionals to facilitate individualized programs for optimal health outcomes. We are seeking Physical Therapy Assistants to help cover vacation requests and high caseload needs. Our primary needs are Monday through Friday, with some Saturday shifts available.

Shifts are 5-8 hours long. The minimum requirement to stay active is 1-2 shifts per quarter.

Responsibilities: Provides professional physical therapy services using recognized and approved techniques and appropriate professional judgment under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist. Is responsible for providing quality patient care.

Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association. Licensed in Minnesota.

Special knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Experience working with seniors in a skilled nursing facility preferred
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient therapy desired
• Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision
• High level of commitment to compassionate customer service
