Pay Rate: $25/hr. on W2

Shift: Mon - Fri (9:00 am – 5:30 pm).

Position Summary

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company for patients seeking routine care or making important, life-defining health decisions.
This role is responsible for performing high-quality blood specimen collection and processing while ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and comfort.
The PSR II builds trust with patients by clearly explaining procedures and delivering services in a skillful, accurate, and professional manner.
Assignments may include a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily duties accurately, efficiently, and on time under the direction of the Area Supervisor.
Draw quality blood samples following established clinical and forensic collection procedures.
Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
Verify patient demographics and initials; obtain patient signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct labeling in the patient’s presence.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Ensure a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
Demonstrate leadership behaviors and process excellence.
Uphold confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Schedule & Work Conditions

Shift: Closing shift.
Hours:

9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
Weekend, holiday, on-call, and overtime availability required as staffing needs dictate.
Travel required; must be flexible to work at multiple locations with minimal notice.
Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.

Education & Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training (preferred).
Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA).

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment (preferred).
Customer service experience in retail or service settings (preferred).
Keyboarding and data entry experience.

Additional Job Details:

Phlebotomy plus point-of-care testing performed on site.
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record required (if applicable).

Credentialing Requirements:

MMR.
Varicella.
Tdap.
TB Testing.
COVID-19 vaccination.
Influenza vaccination.
