Registered Nurse Clinical Documentation Analyst

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Improvement Analyst 2.

Key Responsibilities Conduct concurrent reviews of inpatient medical records to identify documentation improvement opportunities Collaborate with caregivers to enhance medical record documentation for accuracy and completeness Ensure adherence to documentation guidelines and support the coding process to improve quality measures

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Information Management Current Registered Nurse License or relevant health information certification (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCDS, CDIP) Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in acute care medical or surgical settings Preferred 2-4 years of experience in inpatient coding or clinical documentation improvement Clinical knowledge is essential for non-nursing candidates with health information credentials
