Description:

Position for an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
The shift is Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 or 8:30 AM.
The schedule consists of 40 hours per week.
Daily caseload is 9 cases per technologist.
First-time travelers are accepted.
On-call duty is required as needed, with 0-4 assignments per month.
Experience in inpatient, operating room, ER, and interventional radiology is necessary.
Candidates must have experience in various X-ray procedures, including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, and chest/thorax.

Experience with interventional procedures such as stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, drainages, and vascular studies is required.
Knowledge of the charting system Excellian/Epic is necessary.
The facility is a short-term acute care center with 672 staffed beds.
Scrubs are provided by the unit.
Candidates should be prepared to float to different areas as needed.
No block scheduling is permitted.
Local candidates are accepted within a specified radius.
References from one supervisor are required at the time of application.
More than 5 days of time off is not permitted within the duration of the contract.
Pre-approved time off is limited.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate preparation and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
Knowledge of specific equipment used in interventional radiology is expected.
