Echo Sonographer-Pediatrics

Job Summary

Position exists to perform high quality and comprehensive pediatric echo cardiographic examinations on patients and prepare preliminary reports for physician interpretation. Requires a minimum of 2 shifts per week Mon‑Fri 8a‑4:30p.

Location:

Minneapolis.

• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound Technology from an accredited program
• Credentialed in pediatric and adult echocardiography via American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within one year of hire
• Active basic life support (BLS) status and technical competency evaluations must be maintained
• Ability to read, write, and use basic arithmetic and grammar
• Ability to multi‑task
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to maintain professionalism with all patients and families when faced with difficult situations

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS‑pediatrics)
• Minimum 1–3 years prior experience in related field

Annual salaries are based on full‑time employment (40 hours per week). Part‑time salaries will be prorated. The position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Shift differentials or premium pay may apply for night, weekend or on‑call work.
