Travel Echo Technologist ​/ Cardiac Sonographer - Echo​/Cardiac

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 3 years experience and RDCS certification for a hospital-based echo department.

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Echo Tech required
• BLS certification required
• RDCS-Adults certification required (RDCS-Peds preferred)
• License required if applicable
• Inpatient and Emergency Department experience required
• Outpatient, teaching hospital, PICU, neonate, and NICU experience preferred
• Portable studies and Syngo experience required
• IV starts, PACS, and biopsy experience preferred
• Experience required in 3D Echo, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, RVIT/RVOT, TEE, and Treadmill Stress Echo
• Siemens and Philips equipment experience preferred
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

• >ital, short-term acute care, Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma status
• Department scans 75-100 inpatient and outpatient echoes per day
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday through Sunday
• Every weekend work required
• Possible occasional on-call required
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Charting system is Epic/Excellian
• First-time travelers not accepted for this role
• Grey scrub color required
• May float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed
• RTO ideally limited to no more than 5 days
• Returning staff must have a 3-month gap since last worked as a perm employee (staff or per diem)
• Local candidates accepted for this position
