Dietary Aide, Long-Term Care

Walker Methodist Health Center offers skilled care, transitional care, rehabilitation and memory care for 330 residents and is located in Minneapolis.

Walker Methodist Health Center is recruiting for Dietary Aides to work in their large and fast-paced Culinary Services department. As a Dietary Aide, you will be part of a team which provides meals to our residents, dishwashing, food preparation duties according to modified and/or therapeutic diets and tray delivery. This is a mostly standing and walking position.

Part‑time, 4:30 to 8:30 pm or 5:00 to 8:45 pm. 20 hours per week.

• Provide meals to residents and support the dietary service team.
• Perform dishwashing and food preparation duties in accordance with modified and/or therapeutic diets.
• Assist with tray delivery to residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Six months experience in a long‑term care facility or hospitality/restaurant setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to follow written and oral directions and perform simple math.
• Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
