Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position SummaryProvides basic preparation of the patient for ophthalmic tests, evaluation, or treatment ensuring quality patient services.
Work ScheduleDay shift, Monday-Friday.
Required QualificationsCertification through JCAHPO as an Ophthalmic Assistant is required within two years of hire date.
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited home study course in Ophthalmic Assisting or
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or
- Equivalent related experience.
